Swedish Massage - $70 (1 hr.), $100 (1 1/2 hr.)

A Swedish massage is a great “basic” massage. It utilizes long, flowing strokes with firm but gentle pressure. The benefits are increased circulation and blood flow, eased muscle aches and tension, improved flexibility and overall relaxation of mind and body.

Express Massage - $50 (1/2 hr.)

The Express massage is a shortened version of the Swedish style, primarily concentrating on the neck, shoulder and back. Other areas are addressed as needed by the client, time allowing.

Therapeutic Massage - $75 (1 hr.), $105 (1 1/2 hr.)

Who can benefit from Therapeutic massage? Anyone who routinely stretches their physical limits through movement such as running, cycling, hiking, swimming, dancing, tennis and other racquet sports, strength training and aerobics. Therapeutic massage helps the body recover from the stresses of strenuous exercise, and facilitates the rebuilding phase of conditioning. You may also have your own unique trouble spots, perhaps from past injuries. This massage can pay special attention to these areas, monitor them for developing problems and help keep them in good condition. It all adds up to relief from soreness and stiffness, better flexibility and less potential for future injury.

Deep Tissue - $80 (1 hr.), $110 (1 1/2 hr.)

Like the Therapeutic, our Deep Tissue massage is also geared toward the physically active individual. However, as the name implies, the Deep Tissue massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue where chronic injury may lay. When there is chronic muscle tension or injury, there are usually adhesions found in the muscles. This type of massage physically breaks down these adhesions to relieve pain and restore movement. Slower strokes and deep, direct friction across the grain of the muscles are characteristic of this type of massage. Because of this intensity, it is not unusual to experience soreness both during the massage and for a short time after; however, our therapists will always work to your comfort level. It is also very important to drink a lot of water before and after to help flush the toxins released by the massage.

Warm Stone - $120 (1 1/2 hr.)

During the span of 90 minutes heated stones are glided and laid upon oiled muscles. The therapist uses traditional strokes of Swedish massage while holding heated stones. As the stones cool, the therapist will replace them. The heat of the stones helps muscles release more quickly than a traditional massage.

Aromassage - $85 (1 hr.), $115 (1 1/2 hr.)

This fabulous massage incorporates aromatherapy using Decleor products to provide you with a moment of pure relaxation from the tips of your toes to the tension points of your scalp. Your therapist’s trained fingers ease, soothe and relax every part of your body, using techniques exclusive to Decleor, combining massage with acupressure. Tensions are soothed away, toxins are eliminated, and your body is filled with new energy. Techniques and massage balms are adapted to your needs and will invigorate and restore you from deep within your being.

Pre-Natal - $75 (1 hr.)

Gentle and nurturing, this massage can relieve the discomforts associated with pregnancy, as well as increase the mother’s awareness to her areas of tension. Massage enhances relaxation prior to the birth experience, which serves both mother and baby. Pre-Natal massage can help lessen some of the unpleasant symptoms of pregnancy, such as nausea, joint discomfort and minor edema. It will increase circulation, enhance the flow of nutrients to the placenta and aid in postural realignment. This soothing treatment also helps to open the chest and aid deep breathing. The fetus also benefits from the gentle massage and relaxation benefits of this soothing treatment for the mother-to-be.

Please note: All expectant mothers should get their physician’s approval prior to getting a massage. Pre-Natal massage may be done in the first trimester as long as the client has her physician’s approval, has no history of miscarriage, had no difficulty conceiving and did not use fertility drugs or other assistance, has no current spotting or cramping and has experienced massage prior to pregnancy. If this is your first massage, it is advisable to wait until your second trimester.

Reflexology - $55 (45 min.), $65 (1 hr.)

Reflexology is a complimentary therapy which works on the feet to help balance the person as a whole. The art of reflexology dates back to ancient Egypt, India and China. It was brought to the west in the early 20th century as a “zone therapy”. A visionary by the name of Eunice Ingham observed that tension in any part of the foot was mirrored in the corresponding part of the body. From this observation, she developed the “zone therapy” into what is now known as reflexology. This gentle therapy on the feet encourages the body to work naturally to restore and maintain its own healthy balance. Anyone can benefit from this wonderful therapy! It can bring relief from acute and chronic conditions, while relaxing the mind and body to counteract stress.
Please note: Reflexology may be done on pregnant women as long as the reflex points for labor are avoided. As always, pregnant women should check with their physician before receiving this, or any other type of massage.

Couples Massage - $150 (1 hr. Swedish)

This romantic retreat allows two people to receive their massage together in the same room. Each client has their own table and their own provider.

NEW! At Bella Trio
Cupping - $80 (1 hr.) or $15 (15 minutes)

By creating suction and negative pressure, cupping is used to drain excess fluids and toxins, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, and bring blood flow to stagnant muscles and skin. This is wonderfully effective as an addition to any massage. The action on the nervous system is sedating, and clients will often descend into a profound state of relaxation. People often report that the experience stayed with them longer than most treatments. A strong vacuum will mimic the rolling action of deep tissue massage without the discomfort. The movement may be long and draining or circular and stimulating for stubborn knots and areas of rigid tissue. The skin will turn red with strong cupping, indicating that the circulation has been brought to the surface. The increased local blood supply to the muscles and skin will bring nourishment and allow for toxins to be carried away via the veins.

Sports Massage - $75 (1 hr.)

Sports Massage w/ Cupping - $85 (1 hr.)

Sports Massage w/ Cupping & Neurokinetic Therapy - $120 (90 min.)

Sports Massage employs manual techniques which help to restore balance to the musculo-skeletal system. Benefits include an increase in flexibility and reduction in recovery time.

We also offer an “enhanced” sports massage. This massage adds NeuroKinetic therapy and massage cupping for improved results. NeuroKinetic therapy uses active movement and neurosensory stimulation to enhance biomechanical function. By creating suction and negative pressure, massage cupping is used to loosen adhesions, connective tissue, and stubborn knots in soft tissue.
