Clinton Bartok
Clinton Bartok’s interest in holistic medicine began with the examination of the impact foods and lifestyle choices had on the aging process and overall health. He further pursued his interest of human health and well being after discovering the healing power of Chinese medicine and how it treats each person individually. For Clinton , Chinese medicine has become a lifestyle allowing him to draw many of his passions and interests together into on profession.
Clinton completed his studies as a graduate of Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder , Co. He holds a master’s degree in oriental medicine, is licensed in North Carolina , and is nationally board certified by the NCCAOM as a Dipl. OM. This certification includes acupuncture, Chinese herbology, biomedicine, and foundations of oriental medicine. In addition, Clinton has training in the art of yin style energy bodywork techniques taught by the late Xei Pei Qt.
Clinton uses various styles of acupuncture and massage techniques to achieve great results. He is also trained in Chinese herbal medicine and has extensive knowledge of nutrition and supplements.
The use of different modalities provides a better foundation for healing specific conditions.
His recent interest in functional medicine provides the patient with an even more extensive look at the metabolic functioning of their health.
Clinton specializes in treating chronic pain, digestive complaints, endocrine disorders, stress, autoimmune diseases, and supporting oncology patients.
In his free time Clinton practices yoga, meditation, and enjoys tennis, hiking, art, and music.
