Mary Lorenz

Mary Lorenz, NCLMBT #8363, is now a Lymph Drainage Therapy, level one, certified practitioner. As a LDT therapist, Mary is pleased to offer Bella Trio clients this original hands-on method of lymphatic drainage developed by Bruno Chikly, MD of France.  This system, created out of his award-winning research on the lymphatic system, takes traditional lymph drainage techniques and adds a level of precision to yield amazing results.

• Work is done with flat hands, using all the fingers to simulate gentle, specific wave-like movements. These subtle manual maneuvers activate lymph and interstitial fluid circulation as well as stimulate the functioning of the immune and parasympathetic nervous systems.  It is shown that when these actions are accomplished, the results can be:
   
   
• Reduction of edema (swelling)
• Detoxification of the body
• Regeneration of tissue, including burns, wounds and wrinkles
• Anti-aging effects
• Relief of numerous chronic and sub-acute inflammations, including sinusitis, bronchitis and otitis

The Lymph Drainage Therapy Techniques Certification Program signifies advanced skill in the application of lymph drainage therapy.  Mary continues to study with the Chikly Program and anticipates attaining level three certification by the end of 2009.
