What is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical exfoliation and skin rejuvenation process that utilizes aluminum oxide crystals. The tiny crystals are sprayed onto the skin in a gentle abrasion technique that removes the dead outer layer of skin, while a vacuum tube simultaneously removes the dead skin.

What can I expect after a Microdermabrasion treatment?
After the treatment, the skin is pink and feels dry and tight (similar to a sunburn or windburn), for about 24 hours. Avoiding sun exposure, wearing a good SPF and moisturizing are all recommended post treatment.

What benefits can I expect from Microdermabrasion?
Age spots and fine lines can be erased, creating softer, smoother skin that has a younger feel to the touch. For best results, it is recommended that you complete at least six treatments. Microdermabrasion works on all skin types and colors, producing subtle changes, causing no skin color change or scarring. It is also excellent for clearing congested pores, and because there is no “recovery” time, you can have a treatment at lunchtime, and go out to dinner that night.
